Key duties include accurately picking and packing orders, ensuring correct batch selections, handling shipment receipts, and managing inventory levels. The role also involves maintaining organized shelves and performing routine cleaning tasks. Adherence to company protocols, proper storage of pharmaceuticals, and maintaining restricted warehouse access are crucial. Additionally, the Warehouse Clerk may assist with deliveries and support drivers as needed. The position demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Job Duties

Processing Orders

• Accurately pull stock against orders and pack them for delivery.
• Ensure that the correct batches are selected during picking operation, packing and checking of each delivery order
• Receive, Upload and Check-off shipments.
• Transfer pharmaceutical stocks between warehouses.
• Loading delivery orders set for dispatch into delivery vans.
• Maintaining adequate inventory levels and making records of inventory level with accurate use of software – liaising with Purchasing Officer.

Warehouse Maintenance

• Maintain neatly organized shelves,
• Performing cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
• Maintain well stocked inventory in operating warehouse
• Transfer goods from storage warehouses to operating warehouse under supervision
•  Ensure that all operations in warehouses are according to outlined protocols, rules and standards outlined by the company pharmacist.
• Ensure that unauthorized persons are prohibited from entering the warehouse
• Ensure proper storage of all pharmaceuticals according to the instruction of the pharmacist

Other Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering orders upon request
• Accompany delivery driver to assist in smooth deliveries as requested.
• Any other duties that may arise within the scope of work.

Education/Training/Experience

• 5 CXC subjects (including Mathematics and English)
• At Least 1-2 years related experience
