Warehouse Clerk

 

Job Objective:

 

To perform all administrative duties associated with the Warehouse operations.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Receive supplies in each department and accurately update records within forty-eight (48) hours.

 

  • Store items in appropriate storage locations ensuring that bin cards, bin locations etc., are accurate and complete within seventy-two (72) hours of receipt.

 

  • Issue supplies based on authorized requisitions from users.

 

  • Supervise stores and stock maintenance activities in the warehouse, ensuring clean surroundings and proper palleting and shelving of all supplies on a daily basis.

 

  • Reports on storage and averages on a daily basis and unserviceable and expired supplies on a monthly basis.

 

  • Assist with the preparation of internal purchase requisitions on a weekly basis for submission to Warehouse Manager to prevent shortages and stock outs.

 

  • Receive, store and distribute all cold storage supplies in accordance with cold chain principles as is periodically required and prepare reports as necessary.

 

  • Perform any other related duties as necessary.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

 

  • Minimum of five (5) O’ Level subjects, including English and Mathematics.

 

  • CIPS Certificate in Supply Management will be an asset.

 

  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a warehousing environment.

 

  • Any equivalent combination of qualifications and experience.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Special Skills and Knowledge:

 

 

  • Knowledge of warehousing systems and its related processes.

 

  • Basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals and the public health care system will be beneficial.

 

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

  • Adequate supervisory skills.

 

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision.

 

 

 SALARY:

 

$4,498.00 PER MONTH
