Warehouse Cleaner (Freeport)

The incumbent is required to keep the facility in a clean and orderly condition, which shall include cleaning of floors, walls, glass, washrooms, lunchrooms and other areas, along with the removal of waste material/ trash and food waste/ garbage.

Bryden pi Limited is seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the following position in our Operations Division:

Some Main Responsibilities:

• Service, clean and supply restrooms and lunchrooms, inclusive but not limited to scrubbing and sanitizing of toilets, sinks and kitchen fixtures.
• Clean various building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash and garbage routinely.
• Follow procedures and instructions contained in Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage to floors, fixtures and injury/ illness to persons.
• Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, as outlined in SDSs for dilution and safe use, inclusive of the use of Personal Protective Equipment/ Clothing (PPE/C).
• Clean windows, glass partitions and or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
• Notify management concerning any damages to property such as breakages, equipment malfunctions and other property faults observed, where repairs are needed.
• Monitor stock and requisition tea and restroom supplies, along with replacement or additional equipment needed for cleaning functions.
• Dust/ wipe furniture, product, shelving and pallet racks, walls and equipment.
• Ensure that cleaning schedule is adhered to and all required duty checklists are completed accurately in compliance with company policy.
• Destruction of damaged and or expired products as requested.
• Perform other duties that may be required to enhance the operations of the Company

 Qualification, Experience and Requirement:

• A minimum of three (3) CXC passes, including Mathematics and English Language.
• Little or no experience needed. Experience in a similar role will be an asset. 
• Or relevant combination of training and experience.
• Access to a reliable working vehicle will be an asset
• A valid Police Certificate of Good Character
• Due to the nature of the role, we're seeking only male candidates.
