Shipping, receiving, production and housekeeping tasks.
The Warehouse Associate will perform a variety of routine shipping, receiving, production and housekeeping tasks. Shipping tasks include picking, packaging, and shipment of orders. Receiving tasks include loading and unloading truck shipments and stocking the warehouse shelves. Production tasks include material handling, machine operation, spooling cable, labeling, and packaging of product.
· Finance---Provide month end report, slow moving, inventory listing and values, provide GRNS, APPLY FOR CHEQUES for customs and freight duties, complete joint reconciliation.
· Customs Brokers---To expedite item clearance with brokers, work closely with broker to deliver materials to warehouse and to obtain all approved charges for costing of materials.
· POS---Create GRNs for handsets delivered and transfer to POS locations, coordinate and conduct POS stock take to ensure procurement processes are followed.
· Engineers/Other Customer functions---Inform stakeholders of goods arrival, request engineers to check and verify equipment arrival before GRN is completed.
· Suppliers---Where delivery supplies discrepancy exist suppliers must be notified immediately and appropriate steps taken to notify Finance, Buyer, User with full discrepancy documentation.
· Arrange transportation for delivery to site with approved logistics provider upon a cost center being provided for charges.
· Daily updates---GRN, issues transaction, recovery, transfers, inventory count numbers, monitoring key replenishment reports, stock count variance, reconciliation reports and the odd hoc pricing checked reports all reversals must be approved by Supply Chain Manager or the DOA
