The Warehouse Assistant / Courier is responsible for assisting with selected warehouse duties on the days of work.
THIS POSITION IS OPEN ONLY TO NATIONALS OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO AND THOSE HOLDING VALID AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE COUNTRY AND LIVING IN THE COUNTRY AT THE PRESENT TIME.
WE ARE SEEKING A DRIVER / OFFICE ASSISTANT FOR OUR CLIENT LOCATED IN MORVANT.
RATE: $5,000.00 PER MONTH

VALID DRIVER'S PERMIT
DEFENSIVE DRIVING CERTIFICATE AN ASSET
Principal Responsibilities and Duties
• Performs Cycle Count on all the inventory accounts by barcode reading / inputting the required quantity into the interface.
• Receives consignments from the carriers for each account; by signing a proof of delivery from the carrier for acceptance.
• Ensures that the carrier representative records the delivery / visit in the respective visitor logs.
• Picks the requested part(s) from the bin locations as per the Pick Sheet and relocates the selected material to either the designated pick area or front
counter for dispatch for the outbound process.
• Performs the put away process for inbound process to the assigned bin locations.
• Creates the required label for the type of outbound order.
• Performs floor to book audit.
• Performs book to floor audit.
• Assists with inventory optimizing.
• Assists with packing outbound international orders.
• Schedules work to maintain daily workflow efficiency, the ability to multi-task.
• Performs general housekeeping of inventory, workspace and surroundings.
• Performs other related tasks and duties as required by Management.
• Adheres to company operating policies, filed procedures and protocols.
• Ability to work with the internal retail POS system to receive, update and distribute stock.
• Delivers dispatches within the established Service Levels Agreement, deliver stock to our retail branches (2).
• Deliver products and consumables to stores and any other clients requested by Management, and to the Contract Logistics Warehouse.
• Collect deposit bags from retail stores and deliver to bank’s drop box.
• Inspect and pickup returns from principal account vendors / end users
• Maintain Delivery and Vehicle logbooks.
• Be responsible while using the company vehicle
• Identifying issues with the company vehicle and coordinating repairs
Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent experience, must incl. Mathematics and English
• 1 year forklift experience (not necessary, but an asset)
• Prior experience working in a warehouse
• Knowledge of operating a forklift (not necessary, but an asset)
• Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work independently and safely
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services, i.e., customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for
services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction •
• Knowledge of proper use and safety standards for forklifts •
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, listening and understanding information while being able to communicate information and ideas in
speaking so others will understand •
• Ability in deductive reasoning – the ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
• Ability to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships with co-workers, customers, and vendors
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter or as part of a larger team to accomplish goals
• Ability to lift up and over 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to exert muscle force repeatedly or continuously over time
