                              Visual Arts Teacher (High-School) - St. Maarten Region 

Your profile:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate 
will inspire students to explore their artistic potential, fostering creativity while teaching 
various art techniques and principles for the CXC curriculum. The Art Teacher will guide students 
through visual arts education, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art, while 
helping them develop their unique artistic voice.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors’ degree in Fint Arts, Art Education or related field and or Certification in Art Education.
  • Previous experience teaching art in school setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of various art techniques, style, history and CXC Art curriculum.
  • Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for creativity and teaching.
Tasks:
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons on various art techniques, history and concepts.
  • Encourage students’ artistic growth while promoting self- expression and critical thinking. 
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Integrate technology in lessons, including digital tools and software for art creation.
  • Maintain classroom materials and supplies, ensuring that students have access to necessary resources.
  • Ability to adapt and innovate in classroom environment.
  • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students feel free to explore their creativity.
