VALIDATION AND VERIFICATION OFFICER

Kris An Charles Investments Co. Ltd. has been Jamaica’s premier micro finance company since 1992 and operates twelve branches island-wide. We are recruiting experienced Validation and Verification Officer who is highly motivated, self-driven, and passionate about loans and people, highly proactive and have a demonstrated ability to meet targets and reporting deadlines.

The incumbent will be responsible for undertaking tasks within the Validation and Verification Unit and will be expected to maintain accuracy, timeliness and adherence to established standards. The incumbent should be knowledgeable about the Anti-Money Laundering  (AML) Act and be highly competent in the use of technology including loan management softwares and should have demonstrated interest in advancing their career in the field of loan disbursement.

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or similar field
• Minimum of two (2) years in Accounting or Loans Disbursement
• Knowledge of the Miro-Credit Act

The successful candidates will be assigned duties in the Validation and Verification Unit, to:

• Approve loans
• Analyze applicants' financial and credit status
• Check refunds and rebates
• Provide effective and timely verification updates
• Disburse loan, refund and rebate requests
• Prepare monthly reports
• Work flexibly to meet disbursement deadlines
• Perform other tasks as assigned
