The incumbent will leverage design thinking principles, user research, and testing, to create intuitive and engaging user experiences and translate concepts into wireframes, interaction models, and mock ups
Core Functions:
Collaborate with business stakeholders and customers in order to effectively research, conceptualize, wire-frame, sketch, and prototye digital user experiences.
Research and analyze industry UI/UX trends. Propose changes to keep designs up to date, and implement where applicable.
Perform global competitive analysis and customer research for projects.
Conduct usability tests and design implementation review across various platforms. Gather and present results to stakeholders.
Document ongoing progress on work assignments in JIRA, Monday.com or Notion and communicate these updates during daily standups and ensuring all versions of project UI/UX documents are complete, current, and archived appropriately.
Illustrate design ideas for new and existing products or features using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
Gather and evaluate internal user requirements, in collaboration with business, agile labs and IT.
Engage and participate in the UI/UX design guild/chapter to ensure standardization and proliferation of the competence across the enterprise.
Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of three (3) – five (5) years of UI/UX design experience (and supporting portfolio) as a key, hands-on interaction/visual designer of a UI/UX team through the entire product development cycle (starting from user research) of successfully launched web, mobile, and/or software applications.
