Purpose of Job

 To ensure the mitigation of financial risks through adequate support of the management of cash flow, funding, investments and liquidity, in compliance with treasury policies.

 Principal Responsibilities

 Compile cash projections with cash requirement information for inclusion in weekly and daily cash flow reports to support payments.

• Assist in ensuring the company has adequate liquidity for working capital needs.
• Timely transfer of JMD and/or purchase of USD to facilitate accounts payable transactions and processing.
• Negotiate favourable rates with foreign exchange traders for USD purchases and with the company’s Relationship Managers when placing funds on investment.
• Assist in overseeing the corporate debt facilities and ensure adherence to established treasury rules.
• Ensure accurate records management for the treasury function.
• Manage inter-company cash including inter-company lending.
• Assist in preparing audit schedules.

 Minimum Education, Knowledge & Experience

•  Degree in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA Level 2
•  2 years of accounting or related experience
•  Sound knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel
