Job Overview:

As a Telecommunications Trainer at Startek, you will play a crucial role in shaping the knowledge and skills of our Customer Service and Technical Support teams, focusing on telecommunications systems and industry best practices. We are looking for an individual with a strong background in telecommunications, excellent communication skills, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Development:Develop comprehensive training materials covering telecommunications technologies, call routing, phone systems, and customer interaction best practices for both Customer Service and Technical Support representatives.

2. Training Delivery: Conduct engaging and effective training sessions for new and existing Customer Service and Technical Support team members, ensuring they are proficient in utilizing telecommunications systems.

3. New Hire Onboarding:Facilitate onboarding programs to introduce new hires to Startek's telecommunications infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

4. Continuous Learning: Implement ongoing training initiatives to keep Customer Service and Technical Support team members updated on the latest telecommunications technologies, industry trends, and customer service strategies.

5. Performance Evaluation: Assess trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and individual progress. Update training materials as needed.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with the Quality Assurance team, Operations, and other relevant departments to align training programs with operational needs and quality standards.

Qualifications:

1. At least 1 year of training/teaching experience in a BPO environment required with the ability to grasp cultural nuances across different regions.
2. In-depth knowledge of telecommunications systems, call center technologies, and industry best practices.
3. Strong communication and presentation skills.
4. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
5. Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and levels of expertise.
6. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is desirable.
