Trainer

The Trainer will ensure that all team member’s training programs are effectively disseminated to new hires, line, supervisors and management staff. The trainer is also responsible for professional development and on-going hospitality training.

Essential Functions

• Staff member training and professional development.
• Training of new hires in all facets of customer service for our guest.
• Research, evaluate and execute training methodology for entry level and current management positions.
• Participate in scheduled meetings and communicate opportunities for process improvements.
• Assessment of quality assurance duties such as job task monitoring and delivering coaching/feedback in real time.
• Facilitate training via classroom (stand and deliver) and virtual (virtual training software) methods.
•  Must be flexible to meet training needs; available for Public Holidays and evenings.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of training experience, preferably in hospitality or a related field.
• Tertiary-level education preferred, along with a recognized training certification.
• Strong knowledge of education and training techniques preferred.
• Exceptional coaching techniques.
• Excellent leadership, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively convey company policies and standards to all levels of staff.
• The ability to effectively communicate and disseminate training and development materials to all levels of Staff, Executives and Managers 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attendance record.
