Tenders Assistant

TENDERS ASSISTANT

Tenders Assistant will be required to provide a high level of support for the Tenders Department.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents.
• Organize bidding documents requirements i.e. make tabs, folders, documents, compilation of mandatory legal documents
• Write reports and give updates on pending matters
• Liaise with existing and potential customers on a daily basis
• Maintain an efficient Filing system for documents

Minimum Requirements:

• Five (5) CXC O ‘Level passes which must include passes in Mathematics and English
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
• At least three (3) years experience in a similar position
• Must have knowledge of Tendering, RFP, RFQ and Procurement
• Good attention to detail, time management, the ability to work on own initiative and strong written and communication skills
• Commitment to working to tight deadlines and delivering accurate, complete, high quality documents on time is essential
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Self –Motivated and goal orientated
