Our client is seeking a temporary Administrative Assistant for a 3-month period to assist with document production in their Tax & Legal Services Department.

JOB OPPORTUNITY

Temporary Administrative Assistant

(3-month contract)

 

Location: Port of Spain

Sector: Financial Services

Salary: $7,000.00 per month

Qualifications and Experience: 

  • A Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline would be an asset
  • A minimum of five (5) CXC/O’Level passes, including Mathematics and English Language
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a similar administrative role in a professional services environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily MS Word, PowerPoint, and PDF editing tools
  • Familiarity with document management systems or software would be an asset
  • Advanced formatting, editing, and document production skills

 Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Tax & Legal Services Department
  • Focus on document production tasks, including editing and formatting documents primarily in MS Word
  • Proofread and ensure consistency and accuracy in all documents
  • Manage multiple document-related requests and tasks efficiently
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive documents with discretion
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed within the department
  • Meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Communicate clearly and follow instructions accurately
