The Tele-Sales Supervisor is responsible for supervising and successfully steering a team of Tele-Sales Agents to achieve the department’s sales objectives.

JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of the position is to supervise and successfully steer a sales team of Tele Sales Agents through to the achievement of the department’s sales objectives. The Tele Sales Supervisor will be accountable for achieving the channel’s Sales targets while minimizing churn, through effective management, quality assurance, interdepartmental collaboration, creativity, and the implementation of business strategies.

 MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading the team in prospecting and the maximization of our various sources of sales, growing and closing new business in our serviceable areas
  • Working with our Marketing team to improve our potential with our sources of sales.
  • Responsible for generating detailed analytical reports and dashboards on both team and individual agent performance. Utilizes historical data from relevant systems to track key metrics and deliver actionable insights to Senior Management.
  • Review daily/weekly/monthly sales performance reports and take steps to align performance with company objectives.
  • Optimization of sales productivity through effective Performance management.
  • Efficient Work force management to optimize the team’s output and productivity. Trend analysis to be done weekly, daily, and monthly of call patterns to assist with queue staffing
  • Complete Telesales Schedule including but not limited to shift bid preparation and updating shared drive with schedules, weekly modifications and planning for company event while ensuring that staffing figures meets the needs of the business
  • Targeting / creation of avenues for new sales.
  • Growing the company’s various product lines via cross selling, up selling and aggressive new acquisitions targets.
  • organization’s revenue and subscriber targets.
  • Quality Assurance and monitoring of agents, including output verification and quality observations via score cards.
  • Training and development of team in core areas including internal processes, systems, customer service, sales process, strategies, and techniques, all required to meet and exceed quality and sales productivity goals.
  • Coach and develop sales team members ensuring that feedback is given in line with the Company’s Performance Management Policy and disciplinary process.
  • Motivating the sales team through timely feedback and the generation of innovative and exciting ideas, conducive to goal achievement

REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Associate degree or Diploma in Marketing/Sales or related discipline
  • 2 – 3 years sales supervisory experience
  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a sales environment
  • Experience in Telecommunications Industry would be an asset
  • Proven track record of success in similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, reliability, and professionalism
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
