Operating Technician with experience in Process Plant Operations, mechanical, civil, electrical operations. Experience in crane operations would be an asset

JOB DESCRIPTION

• High and low pressure oil and gas production operations
• Well deck operations
• Operation of production separators; Switching wells to different separators
• Participation in separator cleaning
• Gas scrubber operations
• Unit flow - Platform process piping and production headers
• Pumping operations - Operation of reciprocating and centrifugal pumps and compressors
• Flowing wells; Gas lift wells; Production optimization
• Well testing and sampling
• Production operations data/information collection and documentation – preparation of daily production reports.
• Monitoring and control of gas volumes as required by customer (NGC)
• Utility systems – air, fuel gas, potable water - water makers - operations and m'tce
• Platform safety systems – Safety Instrument Systems; Relief valves and vent systems
• Housekeeping and deck hand operations
• Sumps and disposal systems – spill prevention; Care of spills
• Battery charging operations
• Operation of electrical power generation equipment
• Participating in emergency response
• On the job training and self/development
• Working in an integrated work environment – facilitating execution of work using cross crafting philosophy.
• Any other tasks befitting work experience, and physical capability as they may be periodically required.
