The Technical Warranty Advisor is responsible for preparing and submitting technical reports with supporting documentation to the Warranty team for pre-approval, ensuring the reports follow the three C’s (complaint, cause, correction) rule and adhere to OEM standards for warranty claims.

Our Aftersales Team is currently looking for a talented Technical Warranty Advisor to be responsible for preparing all technical reports with supporting documentation and submitting them to the Warranty team for pre-approval of the warranty claims. The primary objective includes the initial and final review of the technical write up at pre-approval and completion stage for the job notes and technical evidence received by the technicians on warranty jobs to ensure it follows the three C’s (complaint, cause, correction) rule as well as adherence to the OEM/manufacturer standards for warranty claims.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
• Submits warranty technical reports on a timely basis for all OEMs based on workshop assignment.
• Review and approve completed warranty jobs before submission to the warranty team for invoicing to ensure job has all relevant documents and technical evidence in the service job pack, updating warranty log as approved.
• Works closely with the warranty team to ensure timely processing for submitted pre-approval.
• Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation based on OEM criteria required for claims at pre-approval and completion stage.
• Resubmits all rejected claims promptly once caused by technical reason.
• Update warranty log with warranty claims that require technical report.
• Ensure technician has labelled all parts appropriately and placed them in the warranty room pre-check area/shelves.
• Ensure the appropriate technical notes regarding the job are entered into the service order in relevant DMS.
• Works with technical team leads to ensure strict quality and operational standards are adhered to by all technicians completing warranty jobs.
• Keeps service teams and or technical operation teams informed of progress of all warranty job
• and any challenges that may occur, escalating to the relevant manager.
• Keeps working area and warranty storage rooms tidy at all times.
We'll make a match if you meet the following requirements:
• At least five (5) CSEC level passes including Mathematics and English at grade 2 or higher.
• Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Proven experience performing administrative tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A general technical knowledge of automotive mechanics would be an asset.
