Job Overview

The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) will play a key role in promoting and selling the company’s products and services. This role involves building strong relationships with customers, providing technical support, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all company offerings. The TSR will work both in sales and technical support capacities, ensuring customer satisfaction through personalized solutions and timely service.
Key Responsibilities
-Sales & Promotion: Drive the promotion and sales of the company's products and services, continuously identifying new opportunities to introduce them to potential customers.
-Customer Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers and distributors through regular visits and ongoing communication to ensure confidence in the company's service.
-Technical Support: Provide mechanical repair services and technical assistance as needed, ensuring customers' concerns are addressed with expert knowledge.
-Consultation: Offer recommendations tailored to customer needs and provide product training to help customers maximize the value of company products.
-Sales Reporting & Quotation: Prepare customer quotations for new equipment and service jobs, and handle customer inquiries, complaints, and billing issues professionally.
-Stock & Inventory Management: Liaise with retail store supervisors to monitor and restock items, process invoices and sales collections, and prepare daily sales reports.
-Logistics & Order Processing: Package and coordinate the delivery of stock items to customers and assist with warranty claims and order replenishments from both local and foreign suppliers.
-Parts & Service Coordination: Identify and manage the distribution of replacement parts, liaise with service personnel on repair jobs, and schedule deliveries as required.
-Market Research & Evaluation: Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities and suggest new product offerings to enhance the business.
-Compliance: Ensure alignment with legal and regulatory frameworks and assist in the execution of advertising and promotional campaigns.
Additional Responsibilities
-Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all administrative tasks, including quotations, purchase orders, and delivery notes.
-Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounts/Finance, to ensure smooth stock checks and order processing.
-Participate in quarterly or annual stock checks, and support the company’s business objectives by implementing sales strategies aligned with overall goals.
Qualifications & Skills
-Education: Technician’s Diploma or a degree in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
-Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in industrial sales or technical support.
-Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), email, and CAD software.
-Personal Traits: Customer-focused, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Must be trustworthy, well-organized, and capable of managing time effectively. A professional appearance is required.
Other Requirements: Must own a personal vehicle.
Beneficial Skills
Ability to interpret computer-assisted design (CAD) drawings.
