The Technical Lead IT Infrastructure has responsibility for the administration of services and provide technical support, carry out maintenance services and project execution for all IT infrastructure investments.
Responsibilities
- Manage all infrastructure equipment and applications to guarantee 99.99% IT service uptime
- Maintain a consistent and reliable backup strategy for all critical business applications
- Performing proactive maintenance for all infrastructure services
- Plan and executed non-disruptive and periodic tests of all IT disaster recovery systems in alignment with business continuity plans
- Provide completed root cause analysis reports for all downtime impacting infrastructure services
- Monitoring disaster recovery and business continuity systems including all enterprise backups and replication services for all applications
Personal Profile
- Expert knowledge is expected in firewall administration, network administration, server administration and physical security services
- Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, corporate firewall solutions, network and wireless solutions as well as monitoring and notification systems, business continuity practices and disaster recovery services.
Requirements
- Degree qualification of equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support environment working with Windows Server 2012 and later versions/editions.
- Experience implementing and/or supporting corporate firewall solution, structured cabling systems, network switches, wireless solution and /or managing data center or server room
- Current Cisco, Microsoft or related certifications and/or accreditations
- Good understanding of ITIL/Service Management
- Certification in Project Management would be asset
