This position focuses on product quality and compliance offers technical support, while contributing to ongoing operational improvement efforts.

Position Overview:

The Technical Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of products throughout their lifecycle. This role involves supporting the development and maintenance of our internal quality control systems, periodic product research and development, and providing technical support to internal teams and our customers. The position offers a dynamic and hands-on environment, where the Technical Coordinator will contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to product quality, industry standards and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Control & TestingConduct testing on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.

  • Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet industry standards.
  • Collaborate with production team to resolve quality issues and improve processes.

2. Product Development & Improvement

  • When instructed by management, see to the development and testing of product formulas 
  • Conduct research and development activities to enhance product efficiency and competitiveness.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and other industry regulations.
  • Participate in internal audits to assess compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

4. Customer Support & Complaint Resolution

  • Assist in handling customer complaints by conducting investigations and identifying root causes.
  • Prepare investigative reports and work with internal teams to implement corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in a quality assurance, technical services, or similar role, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and quality management systems.
    • Experience in product testing, raw material evaluation, and safety compliance.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Detail-oriented: Strong focus on accuracy and maintaining high operational standards.
    • Adaptable: Ability to adjust to changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Problem solver: Ability to identify issues quickly, analyze them, and implement effective solutions.
    • Team player: Collaborative mindset, working well with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive improvements.
    • Strong communicator: Effective in written and verbal communication, with the ability to prepare detailed reports and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Customer-focused: Proactive in addressing customer complaints, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant laboratory software.
    • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies and regulatory standards is a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift products weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Regular exposure to chemical raw materials and organic fumes in a laboratory and production environment.
  • Willingness to work in warehouse conditions, including high temperatures and dust.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety shoes, gloves, and protective clothing, is required.
