Team Lead – AP Experience (In office)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Team Lead with Accounts Payables experience to join the BLEWSTREAM ECOSYSTEM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure meticulous attention to detail for one of our AP Teams, maintaining the highest level of accuracy for client deliverables
• Organize and manage multiple invoices, handle various lines of business, coordinate with vendors, and meet deadlines efficiently
• Lead, motivate, and train staff, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
• Address and resolve issues within the Accounts Payable team, escalating to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with team members and external partners
• Apply a comprehensive understanding of accounting principles and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Analyse data to provide actionable insights
• Perform reconciliation processes with expertise
• Work effectively to ensure that the team meets all Accounts Payable deadlines

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; ACCA CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related financial role
• Experience in High-Volume Environments: Proven ability to manage high-volume accounts payable functions efficiently
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within an accounting or finance department
• Extensive experience in managing vendor relationships and resolving vendor inquiries
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all processes adhere to legal standards
•  Highly articulate with excellent communication skills
• Proficiency in various accounting software (Ideally SAP ERP or Oracle)
• Proficient in Excel
• Legal authorization to work in Trinidad and Tobago
• Available to work full time Monday through Friday
