Talent Acquisition Specialist
Purpose:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in the recruitment life cycle, ensuring the hiring of top-tier active and passive candidates, primarily at junior to mid-level positions across the organization. This role involves managing the end-to-end recruitment process, from vacancy identification to hiring and archiving candidates, while maintaining the ATS and HRIS systems.
Working closely with Human Resources, Hiring Managers, and leadership teams, the Talent Acquisition Specialist drives quality hiring efforts and serves as a brand ambassador, promoting the organization’s corporate identity and fostering engagement with potential future employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute the hiring process in alignment with global operating procedures and best practices.
- Collaborate daily with Hiring Managers to provide recruitment updates and coordinate interviews.
- Source and manage candidate pools proactively, engaging with qualified candidates for current and future opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong candidate network through professional associations, social media, and other online resources.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local sourcing outlets, including educational and vocational institutions, agencies, and businesses.
- Represent the organization at career development, community outreach, and branding events.
- Promote job vacancies internally and externally via various communication channels.
- Encourage employee referrals for current and future job openings.
- Stay updated on emerging recruitment trends and contribute to continuous process improvements.
- Conduct daily interviews for entry to support-level roles, assessing candidates based on competencies, skills, and expectations.
- Review applications to identify former employees and conduct eligibility checks.
- Ensure accurate and timely updates within the ATS, including candidate progression, profile maintenance, and data integrity.
- Maintain the HRIS system by processing new hires, performing eligibility checks, and updating records as needed.
- Assist in extending job offers and initiating online onboarding processes.
- Support pre-employment processes such as background checks, document collection, and drug test coordination.
- Manage candidate drug test purchase orders and organize orientation sessions for new hire classes.
- Prepare and issue employment contracts and address related queries.
- Respond to electronic correspondence from employees, executives, candidates, institutions, and vendors.
- Oversee the completion of online onboarding processes for successful new hire integration.
- Generate and issue bank letters for new hires as required.
- Compile new hire documentation, create checklists, and ensure proper handover to HR.
- Guide new hires through training and system demonstrations (ATS/HRIS).
- Gather and analyze recruitment data for reporting and decision-making.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a similar high-volume hiring environment.
Key Competencies and Skills:
