Supply Chain Manager

Maintains a permanent inventory record of material, equipment, supplies and other general stock items. Under general supervision, this position involves procedures related to purchasing, receiving and maintaining records of equipment, inventory and supplies for the business.

Job Description

• Overall responsibility for Managing the Purchasing, Logistics and Warehousing processes
• Facilitate weekly stock count, checking variances and taking corrective action.
• Prepare monthly report for submission to the CEO & CFO by working day
• Do regular review of supply chain procedure
• Look at ways to consolidate import to reduce shipping related cost
• Analyze delivery information with a view to improve cost of local transport
• Look at ways to implement and audit A.E.O document to ensure adherence to standards
• Maintain supplier, products, services and customer data
• Maintain a system to monitor the deliveries that are done to project and ensure that they transfer to the project stock and invoice timely thereafter.
• Maintain proper records of supply chain related documents and procedures
• Set KPI for purchasing, logistics and warehousing
• Coordinate and supervise annual stock count and provide explanation variances and corrective action with one month after the yearend.
• Responsible for safe and secure storage of companies’ inventories
• Implement a classification procedure to Renaming, coding and shelving inventory items
• Implement minimum stock level and reorder point for inventory and production
