Accurate accounting of company sales and the consistent delivery of quality customer service.

Summary

Effectively directs and supervises the activities of the CSR Department to ensure the accurate accounting of company sales and the consistent delivery of quality customer service in support of the Company’s objectives. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1.   Observe and enforce all store rules and company policies.
2.   Schedule employees to work in support of operational requirements.
3.   Supervise personnel to ensure optimum performance and high staff morale.
4.   Ensure an effective, prompt and accurate check out service.
5.   Ensure that customer needs are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
6.   Ensure accurate accounting of company funds.
7.   Control overhead costs according to budget.
8.   Generate Sales Summary for deposit into bank account.
9.   Administer the daily “float” for cashiers.
10. Review and verify daily sales.
11. Administer the Petty Cash Float.
12. Requisition and maintain stock of stationery and supplies for cashiers.
13. Submit Monthly Reports on department operations.
14. Liaise with other departments to ensure product availability, accurate pricing and labelling at all times.
15. Maintain the highest standards in housekeeping to ensure that the store is clean and safe at all times in accordance          with company policy.
16. Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly in accordance with the policy.
17. Ensure that equipment, and store facility is maintained according to company policy and industry standards.
18. Inform, train, and motivate staff and implement disciplinary action where necessary.
19. Perform other duties as required in support of the Store’s objectives.
20. Ensure that operational activities are geared towards sales maximization. 
Key Deliverables

1.   Schedule employees to work in support of operational requirements 48 hours before a new shift as assigned;
2.   Submits documents/reports to head office within 48 hours;
3.   Daily accounting of company funds is 100% accurate;
4.   Accurately (100%) administers the “float” for cashiers daily;
5.   Conducts a minimum of 2 staff meetings monthly;
6.   Contributes to maximizing sales daily (offers exceptional customer service, promotes the company products,                    encourages the front store team to be sales driven and daily planning and goal setting)
7.   Maintains the quality standard at all times. (Greets each customer with a smile and offering salutations; Inquires            whether they obtained all they required; Informs them of special bargains available in-store; Maintains eye contact          when conversing; Thanks them for shopping at TruValu; Invites them to come again.)
8.   100% Adherence to policy and procedure.
General Qualification Requirements
Education

•        Five (5) ‘O’ Levels – two (2) of which must be in English and Maths.
•        Certificate/Diploma in Business Management.
•        Working Knowledge of Ms. Office.
Experience

Two (2) years experience
