Seeking friendly, reliable Store Clerk for retail store in St. Augustine. HS diploma, math/English proficiency req'd. Duties: customer service, transactions, store upkeep. Flexible hrs, weekends. $21 hr + incentives.

Store Clerk - Cashier and Merchandising

Customer Functions:
•	Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
•	Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
•	Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
•	Collect payments whether in cash or credit
•	Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
•	Redeem stamps and coupons
•	Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
•	Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information

Store Functions:
•	Cashing items
•	Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
•	Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
•	Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
•	Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
•	Pack store items onto shelves.
•	Ensure store cleanliness the store.
•	Keep track of inventory.
•	Create displays for products.
•	Assist customers when asked.
•	Ring up purchases.

Store Requirements:
•	Computer literate 
•	A high school qualification or equivalent.
•	Well-groomed appearance.
•	Excellent customer service skills.
•	Strong English
•	Ability to prioritize tasks given.
•	Ability to work flexible hours.
•	Relatively fit.

Location and Time Details
•	Location of the Store will be at St. Agustine South Area (opposite the highway from UWI)
•	First preference will be given to those living within 30 to 40 minutes away
•	We aim to give a minimum of 40 hours per week
•	Must be able to work on weekend rotations as it is a retail store

Pay
•	$21 per hour (40 HOUR WEEKs)
