Steward

We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Steward to support our kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and ensuring the smooth running of back-of-house activities.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware according to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including countertops, floors, and storage areas.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries, ensuring proper inventory rotation (First-In, First-Out) and storage practices.
• Dispose of trash, recyclables, and kitchen waste appropriately and efficiently.
• Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure it is properly maintained and always functioning.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff by organizing workstations, supplying clean utensils, and assisting with basic prep tasks when needed.
• Ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and protective equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the kitchen management promptly.
• Support in setting up and breaking down kitchen areas for service and events.
