Job brief

 

We are looking for a skilled individual to supervise the daily operations and personnel within specified locations under Allied Security Limited.  The candidate will be expected to maximize efficiency; ensure compliance to SOPS; ensure all Quality Control standards are met while ensuring that customer service is of the highest standard.

 

The Static Supervisor reports to the Manager of the Division. The Static Supervisor organizes, controls and coordinates the daily activities of all Security Personnel attached to their location and ensures that all officers are completing their job function in an effective and efficient manner.

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Set shift daily
  • Ensure, that proper records are kept in relation to Arrival/ Departure, Assignments, Absenteeism and Leave and any additional location specific requirements.
  • Update officer’s time book, ensuring that an accurate record of their start and end time is made.
  • Oversee all diaries assigned to the location and ensure that they are properly logged and maintained/ i.e. Check the Station Dairy, Telephone Message Book, Incident Register, and all other registers daily on assumption of duty. Ensure that the information recorded is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • Check all the equipment (s) under your charge and an entry made in the Station Diary to that effect in the daily certificate.
  • Oversee all handovers.
  • Upon the end of a shift, inform the relieving Supervisor as to all that transpired in his/ her absence.
  • Lecture to junior staff, and in so doing, disseminate ALL instructions/ information as it pertains to the requirements for the efficiency and effectiveness of the Operations. 
  • Compile and submit officer hours to the Manager on a monthly basis.
  • Submit reports to the Managers forum as necessary
  • Record officer infractions and report concerns.   
  • Conduct appraisals on officers.
  • Conduct on the job training with new recruits.
  • Provide administrative support to the operations department as well as maintain a customer service styled environment. 
  • Send shift reports to relevant persons.
  • Assist in resolving clients and officer concerns.
  • Ensure all officers under your charge, uphold company and location standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for your charge.
  • Perform any other related duties.

 

 

Requirements

 

  • Knowledge of computer programs and radios
  • Five CXC passes
  • Related certification in Security/ Business Management
  • Ability to multi task
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Knowledge on rostering
  • Excellent clerical and organization skills
  • Ability to motivate employees, establish, & maintain effective working relationships
  • 3+ years of directly related work experience
