Solutions Engineer / Technical Solutions Consultant - Water Treatment Technologies

Role Overview:

Are you a results-driven technical professional or do you want to become one? Do you have a passion for sales and a knack for problem-solving? We're seeking a dynamic Solutions Engineer to join our team and drive growth by providing expert water treatment solutions to our diverse clientele. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to assess customer needs, recommend optimal solutions, and build lasting relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our water treatment technologies and their applications.
  • Consultative Sales: Conduct thorough needs assessments for commercial and residential clients, recommending tailored water treatment solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling quotations, ensuring accurate and detailed technical specifications.
  • Sales Target Achievement: Proactively pursue leads, manage the sales pipeline, and consistently exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with the service and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • On-Site Customer Engagement: Plan and execute customer visits to explain product capabilities, determine customer needs and conduct pre installation inspections.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Perform basic equipment programming and provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and exceptional service.

 

Qualifications:

  • Has completed or pursuing a degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Technologically adept, with the ability to quickly learn new software and equipment.
  • Able to identify and qualify leads and close sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license.
