About the role

As a Solutions Architect - Security, you will design efficient and robust security infrastructure solutions that support business transformation. You may also implement low to medium complexity solution designs for security infrastructure, either in customers’ environments or one of Fujitsu’s managed tenant environments. You will also be required to work as part of a small cross-functional distributed team. This is a Hybrid Remote role. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to identify needs and opportunities for customers to improve infrastructure development, systems and security operations.
  • Contribute to the definition of customers’ overall infrastructure architecture by designing new solutions of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Use knowledge of architecture methodologies and design principles outlined in TOGAF and be able to apply those standards during the design process.
  • Use Visio, Lucid or other drawing applications to produce design diagrams.
  • Implement networking, security, storage and compute resources in either AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP.
  • Provide domain specific technical knowledge related to UNIX/Linux and Windows systems administration and virtualization. 
  • Define logical architecture of the layers and components of an infrastructure solution.
  • Respond to RFPs and conduct presentations to customers to support technical presales.
  • Share knowledge with colleagues to make useful contributions to Fujitsu’s knowledge base.


Key academic qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience of systems administration in medium to large security environments, either on premise or in the cloud with some exposure to software development, including DevOps or SecOps.
  • Strong networking background is a must achieving at least Cisco CCNP or equivalent.
  • Industry standard certification at a professional level (e.g. - Ethical Hacking (CEH), CompTIA Security +, ISC2 CCSP)
  • Expert knowledge in a widely used vendor technology (e.g. - Checkpoint CCSE, Fortinet NSE5, Juniper JNCIP-SEC)

  • Ability and willingness to think outside the box to find creative and innovative solutions.
  • Strong presentation skills with excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written).
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with clients, colleagues, senior management, vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management with strong planning and organization skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently with a high level of attention to detail and quality.
  • Comfortable in remote work scenarios and able to operate semi-autonomously.
  • High proficiency with Ms Office including Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
