Job Overview: The Social Media and Entertainment Coordinator will be responsible for managing and executing social media strategies while also supporting various entertainment initiatives across multiple platforms. This role combines the dynamic worlds of social media management and entertainment coordination, requiring a blend of creativity, communication, and organizational skills to enhance brand visibility, engage with audiences, and ensure the successful execution of entertainment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Management: Develop and schedule engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and others. Ensure content is on-brand and aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and direct inquiries, and actively engage with followers to foster a positive online community. awareness.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Support the identification and outreach to relevant influencers and brand ambassadors. Assist in managing partnerships and coordinating content collaborations.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay up to date on social media trends, viral content, and industry best practices to ensure the brand is consistently innovative and relevant online.

  • Event Planning & Logistics: Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of entertainment-related events, such as promotional activations, live streams, concerts, and celebrity appearances.
  • Talent Coordination: Work closely with talent agents, managers, and other stakeholders to schedule and organize appearances, interviews, and promotional events.
  • Content Production Support: Coordinate production teams and resources for entertainment-related content, including video shoots, behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and live events.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise with marketing, public relations, and creative teams to align entertainment initiatives with broader marketing and branding strategies.
  • Project Management: Keep track of multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and that all stakeholders are updated on the status of entertainment-related activities.
  • Promotional Materials: Assist in the creation and distribution of promotional materials for events, including press releases, social media graphics, video teasers, and email campaigns.

General Responsibilities:

  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all social media and entertainment-related content maintains the brand's voice, image, and messaging across platforms.
  • Reporting: Regularly report on the success of campaigns, events, and content performance, providing recommendations for future improvements.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to understand audience preferences, competitor strategies, and industry trends, ensuring the brand stays ahead of the curve.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance as needed, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and document preparation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Media, Entertainment, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in social media management, entertainment coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of entertainment industry workflows (talent coordination, event planning, production).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work with diverse teams and external partners.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other project management tools.
  • Creative mindset with an understanding of current trends in both social media and entertainment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) or graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and digital content strategies.
  • Experience in event coordination and talent management within the entertainment industry.
  • Passion for pop culture, entertainment, and the evolving social media landscape.

Working Environment:

  • This is a full-time position that will require evening or weekend work, especially during event promotions or live events.
