JOB OVERVIEW:      

This onsite role involves executing our social media strategy to enhance our hotel's online presence, engage with guests and potential visitors, and promote our brand's unique offerings. The ideal candidate will be passionate about storytelling, adept at content creation, and skilled in fostering online communities. This role requires collaboration with various hotel departments to accurately represent our brand and to ensure a cohesive guest experience online and onsite.

 

Skill & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, or a related field, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills, with an eye for detail and a knack for creative storytelling.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro) and content management systems.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret analytics, and adjust strategies based on performance insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • A certificate in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

 

 

ESSENTIALS JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Develop and curate engaging content for our social media platforms, including posts, stories, graphics, and videos that reflect our hotel's brand and appeal to our target audience.
  • Schedule and post content across various social media channels, ensuring a consistent and timely presence that aligns with marketing campaigns and hotel events.
  • Monitor social media accounts, responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner to maintain positive guest relations and foster a vibrant online community.
  • Track and report on social media performance metrics, gaining insights into content engagement, follower growth, and effectiveness of social media campaigns to inform future strategies.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, hotel staff, and external partners to promote hotel events, specials, and announcements, ensuring accurate and enticing representation of the hotel’s offerings.
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices, recommending innovative approaches to enhance our social media strategy and increase engagement.
  • Assist the Social Media Manager and collaborate with the E-Concierge Agent to ensure a unified approach to guest communication and online branding.
