Snr IT Manager

The role of the Snr IT Manager is to develop and implement comprehensive IT strategies to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and ensure technology alignment with organizational objectives.

Main Accountabilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies, aligning with business goals and objectives.
• Leadership: Manage and direct IT staff, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• ⁠IT Operations: Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring system availability, security, and performance.
• ⁠Budgeting: Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and ROI.
• ⁠Technology Roadmap: Stay up to date with emerging technologies, assessing potential impact and implementing relevant solutions.
• Cybersecurity: Ensure robust security measures to protect organizational data and systems.
• Communication: Collaborate with stakeholders, providing technical guidance and ensuring IT alignment with business needs.
• Project Management: Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring service quality.
• Compliance: Ensure IT compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications, knowledge & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of IT experience, including leadership roles.
• ITIL, PMP, or CISSP certification would be an asset. (⁠ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), PMP (Project Management Professional), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CIO (Certified Information Officer).
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific technologies and regulations
