Site Visit Technician

The Site Visit Technician role is to visit Customers’ site based on the request from the Branding Department and collect the relevant data included but not limited to measurements, photographs, material information, and consolidate into a report to be shared with the Branding Team.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
•To support the Sales team on site visits to gather detailed and accurate measurements and take necessary supporting photographs that can aid in making critical decisions about design and scope of works at each site visit.
•Consolidate site visit pictures and measurements into a comprehensive site visit report to be shared with the relevant parties and estimating team to do the estimates.
•Advising and providing direction and support to Sales Personnel to determine specifications on special projects.
•Use Control software to send quotations to sales personnel within the allocated timeframe for client consideration.
•Liaise with the Display Coordinator to source quotations from our contractors for installations and contact contractors directly.
•Participate in costing discussions with the Branding Team and adjust pricing to secure jobs as necessary.
•Participate in the discussions on job cost analysis by comparing estimate to actual cost to verify accuracy of the quotation.
•Identify areas for improvement for repeat jobs and advise management and production on more efficient ways to produce the jobs.
•Perform duties with adherence to the Company’s Health Safety and Quality procedures and practices.
•Perform duties with adherence to the Company’s Food Safety System.
•Ensure that good housekeeping practices are always maintained.
•Any other related duties as assigned by management.

Other Responsibilities
•Providing accurate and timely drawings showing all measurements and producing CAD shop drawings for all jobs in a timely manner for the production departments.
•Making safety inspections and ensuring the installation site is safe.
•Ensuring quality is controlled.

Job Specification
Qualifications
-5 CXC O’ Level Passes (Compulsory English and Mathematics).
-Certification in Administrative Duties.
-Technical Diploma will be considered an asset (NETD or equivalent).
-Work experience without formal qualifications would be taken into consideration.
-Valid Certificate of Character (Not older than three months).

Knowledge Skills & Abilities
-Proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software applications as needed.
-Proactive.
-Knowledge of AutoCAD and Illustrator.
-Excellent written and oral communication skills.
-Ability to process and organize data in a timely manner.
