Job Summary

To ensure the smooth running of in-store retail operations, the delivery of excellent customer service and create a positive shopping experience that gains repeat business and customer loyalty.

Duties and Responsibilities Summary

• Assisting in receiving, checking, and organizing products delivered to the business premises when required.
• Assisting in restocking depleted products and items and ensuring that the sales areas are organized according to established guidelines.
• Assisting customers in locating desired products or items.
• Informing customers of any specials or product promotions that may be ongoing and encourage purchases.
• Performing price audits as required from time to time to identify and correct price discrepancies.
• Performing end-of-day tidying up duties.
• Addressing and resolving customers complaints in a professional manner.
• Processing customer payments using the store’s Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of store products and items to provide advice and recommendations as needed.

Requirements

• Must have completed secondary education
• Reliable and dependable
• Punctual with good work attendance
• Retail Sales experience would be an asset
• The ability to use Point of Sale (POS) software
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Detail-oriented
• Physically fit
• Knowledge of QuickBooks will be an asset
• Both male and female candidates will be considered
• Shop opening hours: 8.00 am – 8.00 pm Mon. to Sat./Sun. 8.00 am - 2.00 pm. Actual working hours will be compliant with established requirements.
