Core Functions
• Provide leadership to the Investment Banking team with the aim of driving revenues from financial advisory, deal structuring and origination.
• Work with other executive management to originate and execute structured financing/corporate finance transactions for corporate and government clients, locally and regionally.
• Engage in due diligence, financial modeling, developing of credit memoranda for approvals.
• Extensive negotiations with local, regional and overseas clients and partners in the structuring of transactions.

Qualifications & Experience
• Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, Accounting or related fields
• Minimum of ten (10) years’ work experience in the area of Investment/Corporate Banking or Corporate Sales including at least five (5) years’ experience at a managerial level.
Specific Knowledge (however acquired) Required to Start:
• Detailed knowledge of the Jamaica Securities Industry and its products.
• Extensive knowledge of asset based documentation
• Extensive knowledge of banking and securities policies and regulations
• Advanced knowledge of Bond and Equity markets
• Broad experience in negotiating with multi-national and multi-lateral financial institutions as partners
• Advanced knowledge of equity valuation and financial modeling
• Knowledge of the full range of investment products and services available through the company and its subsidiaries
• Sound knowledge of management principles and practices
• Sound knowledge of economic theory, particularly monetary theory and macroeconomics
• Sound knowledge of economic accounting and finance
