Applicants will be considered only if the following requirements are met:

Pursuing/completed a undergraduate degree in Accounting / ACCA level III / CPA

  • Minimum of 3 years Accounting, Audit and Tax experience
  • Competence in preparing audit working papers which are compliant with International Standards on Auditing.
  • Competence in preparing and reviewing financial statements which are compliant with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Competence in preparing tax returns
  • Proficient computer skills and experience in utilizing accounting as well as audit software
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Able to excel in a team-oriented environment

Key responsibilities:
• Developing audit plans tailored to specific audit jobs assigned.
• Conducting risk and control assessments.
• Input financial data, such as trial balance, into relevant audit software (Caseware).
• Perform audit procedures related to clients’ financial statements.
• Determine if financial recordings and financial statements disclosures were in compliance with regulatory, accounting standards and industry best practices.
• Complete audit assignments within agreed time budgeted.

• Prepare and ensure the adequacy and appropriateness of your workpapers.
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants to ensure they produce high-quality audit work papers and reports.
• Conduct the first review of staff accountants working papers before the Supervisor/ Audit Manager.
• Interact with clients throughout the audit process while delivering quality client service.
• Drafting of financial statements and tax computations such as income tax and deferred tax where appropriate. (Senior Staff accountants must be able to prepare financial statements for small to large-sized entities).
• Communicate our audit findings and make recommendations to improve clients accounting and management practice through detailed management letter.
• Stay current with changes in auditing standards, laws, and industry best practices.
