 SENIOR SOUS CHEF

The successful applicant will assist in the overseeing and direction of all aspects of the kitchen operation at the level of standard and quality established by the company.

Applicants should satisfy the following minimum requirements:

• Knowledge of sauce preparation, soup, butchering and all culinary operations;
• Knowledge of specialties such as pastry work and garde manager skills is desirable and very essential.
• Outgoing, pleasant personality with excellent guest engagement skills;
• Effective interaction with staff to ensure team member and guests satisfaction;
• Knowledge of volume production and ability to maintain the highest quality standards;
• Proven management abilities in and demonstrated knowledge of Menu engineering, Budgeting and forecasting, and Cost control management;
• Meticulous with great attention to detail;
• Understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural/diverse environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of three years’ experience as Sous Chef in an international first-class hotel/resort
• Culinary institution or equivalent technical schooling or apprenticeship training
