Core Functions:
• Identifying and recommending suitable investments across global, regional and local asset classes for clients of NCBCM and its regional subsidiaries (“the Group”) and providing thorough analyses with buy/sell/hold recommendations, the associated investment risks and investor suitability.
• Monitoring all assets recommended to clients to identify changes in the operating environment, industry, or company operations and performance that could warrant a change in the recommendations.
• Assisting in building the NCBCM brand and positioning the Group as a thought leader in the regional capital markets, while fulfilling its commitment to investor education.
• Assisting in the preparation of Investment Portfolio Proposals designed to meet client financial objectives and risk tolerances. Assist with the provision of recommendations for strategic and tactical asset allocations of multi-asset investment portfolios.
• Conducting in-depth analyses of the economies in which the Group operates and making recommendations on entry into new markets based on assessments of fiscal policy, the sovereigns’ debt dynamics, the political environment, growth prospects, risks, etc. and the potential impact on the Group’s operations and assets.
• Providing research and analytical support to the revenue generating units of the NCBCM, its subsidiaries and Divisions of NCB Financial Group as requested.
• Assisting with identifying and executing on innovative solutions to improve the execution of team functions and enhance service delivery to internal and external clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
EITHER:
i. Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related disciple and a minimum of modeling, valuation, fixed income and equity analysis.
OR:
ii. First Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline and three (3) years’ experience
• Enrollment in the CFA programme is an asset
