JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Process and Facility Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of facilities operations, including maintenance, compliance, and process optimization, with a strong focus on developing and implementing strategic improvements to streamline workflows and maximize operational efficiency across the facility. They will be responsible for improving efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance, by analyzing data, identifying improvement areas, and implementing technical solutions across the entire production environment. They will typically manage teams, collaborate with other departments, and ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. 

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Facility Management:

• Developing and executing long-term facility strategies aligned with business goals, including capital expenditure planning for facility upgrades and renovations. 
• Analyzing operational data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction. 
• Leading cross-functional teams to implement facility optimization initiatives. 
• Overseeing facility maintenance and repair programs to ensure optimal equipment functionality. 
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards within the facility. 
• Monitoring energy consumption and implementing energy-saving initiatives 

 Operational Management:

• • Managing day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, and service level agreements. 
  • Overseeing facility maintenance teams, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance activities. 
  • Monitoring and managing facility budgets, including cost control measures. 

  Process Improvement:

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency across facility operations. 
• Analyzing data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in facility processes. 
• Leading process improvement initiatives, including Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. 
• Developing and implementing process improvements to increase yield, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. 
• Designing and executing pilot projects to test new process technologies. 
• Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes. 
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensuring adherence to all relevant safety regulations and building codes within the facility. 
    • Conducting regular safety inspections and addressing potential hazards. 
    • Implementing and maintaining emergency preparedness plans. 
    • Building strong relationships with external vendors and contractors. 

 Technical Leadership:

• • Providing technical expertise on process engineering and facility design to cross-functional teams 
  • Leading continuous improvement projects, including data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving 
  • Mentoring and developing junior engineers 

• Project Management:
  • Initiating and managing capital projects related to process improvements and facility upgrades 
  • Developing project scopes, timelines, and budgets 
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to design and implement new equipment and systems
