As a Senior Operations Administrator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

OVERVIEW:

KPMG Jamaica has a delivery center named “Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS)” operating from Kingston, which is contracted to provide back-office support to its member firm KPMG United States (“the Client”). 


JOB SUMMARY: 

As a Senior Operations Administrator, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You’ll manage confidential information, streamline operational procedures, troubleshoot challenges related to processes or technology, and provide top-tier support to our senior leadership. Your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills will be essential as you collaborate with various teams to tackle complex challenges. With your keen attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure, you'll help drive our projects to success. Join us and be a vital part of our journey!


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Service Delivery 

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of operational systems and procedures to ensure efficiency.
  • Provide high-level support for system troubleshooting, technical issues, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage operational projects, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Recommend controls by identifying pain points, writing improved procedures.
  • Provide executive-level administrative support to senior leadership, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and communications management.
  • Prepare and manage confidential documents, reports, and presentations for senior leadership.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a similar capacity 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically in MS Excel.
  • SharePoint and/or PowerBI experience would be an asset 
  • Training in Project Management methodologies would be an asset.
  • Strong leadership ability is required.
  • Ability to perform work that is varied and somewhat difficult in nature. 
  • Ability to perform work with minimal to moderate supervision; able to apply and interpret business rules and concepts in daily work.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Expected to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Will be working primarily in a paperless environment and expected to be using information systems for the entire workday to access data or perform activities.
  • May be required to work extended hours periodically or on public holidays.
