ROLE AND CORE FUNCTION
The Senior Manager - Premium Wealth possesses an extensive understanding of sophisticated wealth management practices and investment strategies tailored to ultra-high net worth clients. The incumbent is tasked with cultivating and sustaining client relationships in alignment with Barita Investments' strategic objectives.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Client Service:
- Conduct in-depth communication with ultra-high net worth clients.
- Discuss investment performance, economic trends, and market insights.
- Host client meetings, presentations, and facilitate financial opportunity discussions.
- Develop and deliver private wealth education sessions for clients.
- Maintain and update client data in the Management System.
- Uphold Barita's service level standards, product offerings, and procedures.
- Guide the completion of account opening documents in compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines.
- Address client requests and complaints in adherence to Barita's Service Delivery Standards.
Financial Planning:
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' financial situations.
- Structure goals-based investment and financial plans.
- Discuss estate planning and collaborate with internal and external resources to meet client goals.
- Establish trust and confidence with clients to address any financial issues and offer solutions.
- Stay updated on regulations, practices, and financial products in the market.
Investment Management:
- Establish client investment objectives, including risk tolerance and asset allocation.
- Understand client financial goals and risk tolerance and provide recommendations.
- Develop client investment road maps based on goals, objectives, and risk tolerance.
- Monitor asset allocation quarterly and evaluate the need for rebalancing.
- Present alternative investment ideas to clients.
- Manage investment transitions for new clients.
- Collaborate with Asset Management & Research Teams on investment strategy and portfolio structure.
New Business Development and Marketing:
- Increase product sales through existing and new distribution channels.
- Develop leads and referrals from current clients and external contacts.
- Seek to grow current accounts through additions to Assets Under Management (AUM).
- Participate in sales meetings with prospective clients based on Barita's product offerings and market
demographics.
ADHERENCE TO COMPANY POLICIES:
- Follow company policies, including standard operating procedures for repurchase agreements, equity management, and unit trusts.
- Adhere to regulations and guidelines governing Barita's business.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field (Investments, Finance, Accounting/Tax, Economics, Business Administration) and a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
MBA, CPA, CFA, or CFP designation or equivalent is an asset.
Special Considerations:
Knowledge and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering guidelines, Financial Services Commission's regulations, market trends, investment products and strategies, and financial statement analysis.
