Senior Investment Banking Analyst

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for preparing detailed company analysis, company valuations and deal books for clients as well as assessing company’s proposals seeking to raise capital. They are also responsible for preparing Term Sheets for Corporate Notes and play a critical role in margin business for the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct company valuations and prepare deal books for Investment Banking (IB) transactions
• Assist with the execution of all Investment Banking transactions from origination to completion
• Assist with providing clients with respective available equity margin balances
• Prepare reports for margin business, department overview and ALCO reports
• Prepare equity purchases/sales, pay-outs and Cambio transactions for IB clients
• Maintain relationships with existing clients as well as actively develop new relationships with prospective clients

Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Banking & Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years’ related experience in the financial industry
  • Microsoft Office Suite and relevant computer application software including spreadsheet applications
  • Report writing and analysis
  • Time management
  • Presentation Delivery
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Conduct research on the impact of economic indicators on investments
  • Conduct research on financial securities

• Broad knowledge and experience in: Financial Services industry, Accounting, Economics, Accounts, Local and Global Economies and Global and Local Securities Market
• Experience in the use of various data analytical tools and investment analyses
• Excellent skills in:

• Above average skills in: Securities Analysis, Financial Modelling in Excel, Business Valuation and Valuation techniques
• Demonstrated ability to:
