Are you an experienced and dedicated Auditor looking to make a significant impact? Look no further! First Heritage Co-operative Credit Union Limited is seeking to recruit a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our dynamic Team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Chief Internal Auditor to develop a risk-based Annual Audit Plan with a primary focus on information technology audits, and a secondary focus on general audits.
2. Execute thorough evaluations of IT systems, networks, and applications, identifying vulnerabilities and assessing controls
3. Analyze complex data and reports to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
4. Design and implement audit procedures based on meticulous risk assessments and stringent regulatory requirements.
5. Produce detailed audit reports that clearly outline findings and actionable recommendations.
6. Provide strong leadership and supervision to the internal audit team, ensuring regular updates on activities as well as performance are reported to the Chief Internal Auditor.
7. Conduct comprehensive/general internal audits across various functions and lead special investigations as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of proven experience as an IT Auditor or similar role, with at least 2 years at a supervisory level.

• Strong analytical skills to assess complex IT systems and identify vulnerabilities.
• Proven ability to enhance audit methodologies and tools.

• Effective communication skills to articulate audit findings, recommendations, and technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills to effectively lead multiple audit projects simultaneously, coupled with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Thrives in fast-paced environments and excels under pressure.
• Strong leadership and team management experience in supervising and guiding audit teams.
