JOB SUMMARY

The Senior IT Specialist – IT Infrastructure & Security is responsible for providing excellent customer service by ensuring that computer systems, networks, voice systems, applications and databases at all locations are kept fully functional at all times by doing regular maintenance of all systems with specific focus on the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms and Cyber Security.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provide Tier support for all calls relating to issues on Server systems, voice and data networks.
  • Support and maintain the various enterprise servers, clusters, networks, applications and databases.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the various servers, clusters, networks, applications and databases.
  • Evaluate and implement new systems and procedures.
  • Schedule, communicate and execute maintenance activities.
  • Network (WAN/LAN), System Design, infrastructure and ICT security implementation and Support.
  • Enforce and ensure compliance with Standards, Policy and ICT Security development.
  • Storage/SAN management and operations.
  • License Management and Compliance.
  • Provide Server, Network and OS monitoring and support.
  • Back up strategy recovery and operations.
  • Implement countermeasures and recommendations from penetration Testing or audits.
  • Maintain data confidentiality, validation, integrity and availability.
  • Facilitate Security Awareness Programs.
  • Manager Vendor, Change and Contract Management.
  • Adhere to the company’s and department’s KPIs.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable HSE legislation and policies as far as reasonably practicable.
  • Commit to attending all required HSE training.
  • Ensure all HSE assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are fulfilled on a continuous basis.
  • Oversee and participate in all HSE assessments for projects and consult with HSE Team where necessary (ensuring proper use of PPE, completion of Job Safety Analysis documents (JSAs), Proposal Contract and Project (PCP) Forms.
  • Assist with ICT vendor risk assessments.
  • Manage Inventory of Infrastructure IT Assets.
  • Implementation, maintenance and support of end-point security.
  • Assist with technical training of staff.         
  • Maintain a standard of performance in line with AMPLIA Communication Limited Standards.
  • Assist with the compliance with PCI and ISO 27001 requirements by conducting periodic ICT Security Audits to determine inefficiencies and loopholes.
  • Assist with minimization and mitigation against the risk of data loss through privilege access management.
  • Assist with providing recommendations for ICT Security, ICT business continuity and Disaster Recovery operations.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS   

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent – required, unless adequate experience is delivered.
  • At least five (5) years’ experience in I.T. inclusive of business systems analysis, Cyber Security and networks.
  • In depth knowledge of operating systems, local area networks, wide area networks, network security, personal computers and office productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise applications such as MS Dynamics AX and CRM would be an asset.
  •  Knowledge of database design and SQL concepts will be an asset.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Certification in CCNA Switching & Routing.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Voice systems.
  • Knowledge of Network Intrusion and Cyber Security.
  • ITIL Certification will be an asset.
  • Experience with various Operating Systems (Windows Server 2012, Mac OSX, Linux).
  • Knowledge of Managed Access Points such as Fortinet, Meraki and Ubiquity.
  • Working knowledge of Firewalls such as Fortinet, WatchGuard and Cisco ASA.
