We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Officer with a background in maritime or operations.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior HR Officer with a background in maritime or marine operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing HR functions, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, and supporting the recruitment and management of crew members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of crew members.
  • Ensure compliance with maritime labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for crew members.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR databases.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and maritime regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in the maritime or industry.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience with local /international marine operations.
