Job Title: Senior Facilities Engineer (Process)
Department: Operations


Job Summary: The Senior Process & Facilities Engineer will oversee all aspects of CLIENT’s facilities operations, focusing on maintenance, compliance, and process optimization. This role emphasizes developing and implementing strategic improvements to streamline workflows and maximize operational efficiency. Responsibilities include improving efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance by analyzing data, identifying improvement areas, and implementing technical solutions across the production environment. The role involves managing teams, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Core Responsibilities:
Strategic Facility Management:

  • Develop and execute long-term facility strategies aligned with business goals, including capital expenditure planning for upgrades and renovations.
  • Analyze operational data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement facility optimization initiatives.
  • Oversee facility maintenance and repair programs to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Monitor energy consumption and implement energy-saving initiatives.

Operational Management:

  • Manage day-to-day facility operations, including maintenance schedules, vendor contracts, and service level agreements.
  • Oversee facility maintenance teams, ensuring timely repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and manage facility budgets, including cost control measures.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in facility processes.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, including Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase yield, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
  • Design and execute pilot projects to test new process technologies.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.

Project Management:

  • Initiate and manage capital projects related to process improvements and facility upgrades.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement new equipment and systems.


Education, Skills, and Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Process Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in facility management with a proven track record of successful operational leadership.
  • Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in facility management software and data analysis tools.
