The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems and solutions. In this role, you will oversee engineering projects, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with industry standards, and timely delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Electrical System Design: Design, develop, and review electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and layouts for various projects, ensuring functionality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, identifying their electrical needs, and proposing suitable solutions.
  • Technical Consultation: Provide technical expertise to clients, assisting them in selecting the right electrical products and systems to meet their requirements (for selected turnkey projects).
  • Component Selection: Research, evaluate, and select appropriate electrical components, such as sensors, motors, and controllers, to meet project requirements.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes of electrical systems, troubleshoot issues, and iterate designs for continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project goals.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis and feasibility studies for electrical components and systems, optimizing the consultant/client’s designs for cost-effectiveness. Prepare Estimates for Public and Private Tenders.
  • Project Management: Manage electrical engineering aspects of projects, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Procurement: Source and recommend economical products/substitute products local & overseas that meet contract specifications.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all electrical systems and components comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and codes.
  • Training: Provide training sessions or workshops to clients and internal sales teams to improve their understanding of electrical products and solutions (e.g., Generator, UPS System and Voltage Stabilizer)
  • Provide general supervisory responsibilites to the Electrical team on a project basis
  • Any other assigned duties.

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
  • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in electrical engineering, with a strong track record of designing and implementing electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
