SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST                                                            

Applications are invited from persons with suitable qualifications to fill the position of Senior Credit Analyst at the Investment Banking Department.         

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Conducting initial screening and analysis information provided by client, including but not limited to financial accounts, cash flows, projections, financial models and communicating additional requirements as necessary.
• Independently preparing complex credit proposals for internal approval by Risk Management.
• Building financial presentations for internal and external management.
• Assisting in the development of financial structures.
  • Developing financial models in Excel including but not limited to proforma models, debt service analysis, stress testing, covenant testing, and break-even analyses.

• Preparing information memoranda for submission to local and regional institutional investors.

• Liaising directly with domestic and regional clients and legal counsel, to prepare and review of documentation.

• Assisting in syndication efforts for live and existing mandates

GENERAL QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:

The jobholder should have:

• Financial related degree or professional qualifications such as an ACCA.
• Strong understanding and background in Corporate Finance.
• Well-developed credit writing, financial modelling, and presentation skills.
• Adept verbal and writing communication skills, including a strong ability to communicate complex topics and decisions to internal and external management.
• Extensive experience in the Banking Sector for 3-5 years with at least two years’ experience at a Senior Supervisory Level in commercial credit.

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of all aspects of security procedures and banking operations.

• Advanced use of MS Office Suite, and online meeting platforms such as Zoom and MS Teams.
