Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The Lake Group of Companies (Burger King, Popeyes, Little Caesars Pizza, Krispy Kreme and other companies) is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst.

The Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst collaborates with multiple departments, primarily supporting Quick Service Restaurant Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations. The role reports to the Group Manager, Business Analytics and is situated in the BI Unit of Lake Group of Companies. This role handles analysis and data modelling design using data collected throughout the organisation. It involves creating, maintaining and publishing daily, weekly and monthly reports.  It requires collection of external data, mine internal data and analyse that data to find trends. It also involves process mapping and leading projects aimed at improving processes. The Sr BI Analyst is required to effectively communicated insights to others within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

• Generate insights on improving business performance (e.g. sales, cost, process efficiency etc).
• Lead initiatives aimed at increasing use of insights and fostering a data-sensitive culture across the group.
• Design and implement process improvement projects.
• Coordinate training of management in use of BI reports and tools.
• Create and maintain new BI reports and tools for management.
• Provide other reporting and analysis support to QSR stores, Accounts, Operations and Marketing and other Group Entities, including ad hoc requests and routine items, such as creating new Power BI dashboards.
• Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manuals.
• Ensure daily and weekly reports are updated in a timely and accurate manner (Mon-Fri).

Qualifications:

• BSc in Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or similar field.
• 3-5 years in a reporting and analysis position.
• High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Office Tools required.
• Proficiency in Python or R required.
• Proficiency in process mapping preferred

 Skills:

• MS Excel, Power BI, MS Office, R and Python (preferred).
• Analytical ability.
• Process mapping (preferred).
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills.
