Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant, Pensions to manage and supervise the financial affairs of JN Fund Managers Ltd. This role includes preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards for all pension fund activities. You will report directly to the Accounting Manager and oversee two staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fund Reporting

• Perform financial reporting for pension funds, including JN Individual Retirement Scheme and JN Pooled Pension Funds.

• Prepare management accounts and liaise with auditors to ensure compliance with IFRS and service level agreements.

• Financial Review

• Review monthly journal entries and financial statements for pension plans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Valuations

• Ensure monthly fair value calculations for all segregated pension funds are accurate and compliant with standards.

• Payment Oversight

• Approve daily payment requisitions and confirm transaction details.

• Advisory

• Provide accounting guidance to Asset Management and present financial reports to Trustees.

Required Qualifications:

• ACCA Level 2 or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Minimum of 3 years in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of accounting and mathematical principles.
