The successful candidate will be responsible for processing the company's accounts payable transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors and reconciling customer accounts.

Main Duties and Responsiblities:

  • Process, verify, and reconcile invoices and payment requests promptly and accurately.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers, checks, and other payment methods.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Maintain updated and organized accounts payable files and documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and processed within agreed-upon terms.
  • Assist with month-end closing, accruals, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate accounts payable aging reports.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Recommend improvements to accounts payable processes and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  •  Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
